"He photographs the shape of voices and sounds and remoteness and skin and tenderness and defiance and breath and childishness and wildness and imagination and urgency and infinite patience and experience and style and sex and talent and bone and the weather and blood and the world as it strangely becomes what it strangely becomes."

"Glamour Portraits"

"create a modern interpretation of the mood and style of Hollywood glamour portraits of the 20's and 30's"

For this project I focused on how women were represented on the 20's and 30's and having as my main references Marlene Dietrich, Lee Miller, Greta Garbo and Theda Bara I wanted to portray a woman that on one hand it's very sensual and powerful but on the other hand it's very mysterious, fragile and sad.

I used an antique shop called Aladdins Cave, at Lewisham, as my scenario.

"The Real Me"

I know I've been quite away from here but I'll be uploading my new projects that I've been doing at LCF's BA Fashion Photography from now on.

In this first individual project, "The Real Me", we had to represent our inner self having as a starting point Freud's theories.
Having as my main influences self-portraits from Nan Goldin and Robert Mapplethorpe, I tried to explore my most unconscious side by making this project in a very unpredicted and experimental way.

LCF's Foundation Exhibition

Ok, so the Foundation's end of year show at LCF has just started this Monday and it's going to be there (Mare Street) until this Friday.
Here you have some pictures of my part of the exhibition!

Performare - Final

I think i've just finished my video. It's strange because it's the first video that I've done almost by myself.
This is my final outcome for my final major project, and for the hand-in I will probably just adjust the sound on the credits, because it's too loud.

Hope to receive some feedback about it! As it's going to make part of the Foundation exhibition.

Oh, and for some reason the video is 4:3 when it should be 16:9... Some error in youtube probably.

Fashion show - 21st May

Well this was the first time I did catwalk photography!
This show was organized by Alexandra Cronan as her Final Major Project for the Foundation and took place at the Cuckoo Club. As a charity event in partnership with the Variety Club, this show featured some garments made by other foundation students at LCF.

It was a really good experience, also to get in touch with some professional models.

unadvanced

I believe that the use of noise to make music will continue and increase until we reach a music produced through the aid of electrical instruments which will make available for musical purposes any and all sounds that can be heard.
